Now that the sale of my home is complete, I want to take a few moments to let you know how much I appreciate everything that you have done on my behalf over this past 8 – 1 0 months.  You patiently walked me through this entire process; answered all of my questions (even the ones of very little importance); and, it was very clear how hard you both worked for me at every step of the way. The sheer number of phone calls and follow-ups you had to do on my behalf is truly amazing.
Please accept my sincerest gratitude for all of your help.
Sincerely
Pam

RE: Brian Gormley, Letter of Recommendation
Dear Sir/Madam,

There is too much that can be said about the diligence and hard work of Brian Gormley. I was introduced to Brian through my realtor and Brian walked me through my options to avoid foreclosure. He set expectations of the steps of the short sale process and the expectations I should expect from him. Not only did he deliver on all expectations, he exceeded them! I’ve heard stories of the lender taking a long time to approve the short sale, however with the pressure of Brian, the approval was prompt. The first offer the bank provided was not acceptable and Brian went back to the bank to negotiate a better price and we got an offer!
I know Brian has a lot on his plate and it always felt like he was always accessible. I never had to call Brian more than once for an update and always felt reassured and at ease after speaking with him. Brian has set the bar high on how someone should run their business. Thanks again for everything!

Best Regards,
Ralph Pittman Jr.

Now that the dust has cleared and the holiday season is upon us, my wife and I wanted to take the opportunity to personally thank each of you for all of your efforts in the short sale of our house last month. I will say that the Cornerstone Team is responsive and thorough and handled our short sale with a great deal of professionalism.

It’s always a pleasure to work with individuals whom you feel you can trust and rely in these tough economic times, especially when dealing with a subject as controversial as a short sale.

So once again, thank you very much and Happy Holidays to each of you.

Yours Truly,
Marina and Ed Alexander

PS: In a short time, we may be looking for a new home. Don’t be surprised if we call you guys to help us find us that fantastic foreclosure/short sell opportunity that’s almost too good to be true. I’ve always heard about these amazing foreclosure/short sale deals but until our home sold, I haven’t actually experienced one. As far as I’m concerned, the gentleman that bought our house benefited from an incredible short sale deal. Hopefully when we start our new home search, we can be fortunate enough to find one, too.

Thank you so much for everything you did to get this short sale done!
Words cannot express how thankful we are and the weight that has been lifted off of us.
Thank you so much!

- Jennifer P.

My husband and I were faced with a foreclosure date of April 27, 2010. After a failed loan modification attempt and numerous short sale experts telling me that it was too late for a short sale, our realtor Beth Rook introduced us to Brian Gromley. That date was April 19th.

Brian explained very clearly the entire process of a short sale and his confidence in his success helped boost my own. I remember saying to him, “we are due to foreclose on the 27th and the lender will not agree to a short sale”. Even under those conditions, Brian felt that a short sale was a good alternative for us. While I was doubtful, his push at giving this a try and not losing our home to a foreclosure was just too overwhelming to walk away from. We felt so relieved from Brian’s confidence at being successful that we no longer had sleepless nights.

April 21, 2010 about 8 pm our home went up for sale (without a sign) on April 22, 2010 I received a call that we were starting to get offers on our home. The Lender was not very forthcoming with Brian, who is dedicated to the point that while at a doctor’s appointment with his children he was still negotiating with the lender. On the evening of April 23, we received our letter of acceptance for the short sale. We could not believe it! Everything that Brian said would happen did, and in the exact order.
